Membership status is conferred after cooptation by the Board and after payment of the annual membership fee.<\/p>\n
Members have the opportunity to receive personalized advice in cases of plagiarism or scientific fraud. They may also attend the annual conferences at the member price, attend debates held within the Institute, and benefit from the experiences shared by other members. They have the right to vote at the annual general meetings.<\/p>\n
Members contribute to the development and entrenchment of good practices with respect to academic integrity in their immediate environment. They promote the introduction of organizational frameworks for the exposure and handling of cases of academic fraud and plagiarism. They provide the Institute with information useful to its research and activities.<\/p>\n
