Verification of certification after 2 years.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Skills acquired through certification<\/h3>\n<p>1<strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">) Register a complaint of fraud and\/or plagiarism<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nConduct a prompt and objective investigation to prevent complainants from feeling unfair and rumours from spreading.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>2) Set up an ad hoc committee<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nRefusing to entrust the investigation to an internal commission: pres- sure, lack of serenity, biased conclusions&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>3) Select Committee Members<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nComplementarity of members: a doctor in law, one or two specialists in the relevant field, an expert in fraud or plagiarism.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>4) Facts, facts, always facts<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nCollect case documents appropriately: distinguish reliable and factual documents (see certification 4) from emotionally overwhelming wri- tings.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>5) Qualify the fault(s)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nEstablish the seriousness of the fraud or plagiarism: distinguish the extent of the intentionality of the perpetrator.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>6) Contextualize the case<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nThen conduct stakeholder hearings to contextualize the relationships between stakeholders, and identify associated responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>7) Determining offending behaviour<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nDetermine the impact of fraudulent behaviour on collateral victims (e.g. publishers, readers, etc.)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>8) Establish potential remedies for stakeholders<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nFormulate specific recommendations for institutional leaders who will then have to act.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>9) Conclude the investigation<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nThe objective of the conclusion is the pacification of communities while restoring equity between individuals, actors and organizations.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>10) Communicate on the investigation<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nPrepare an annual summary of (anonymized) cases investigated: quantity and nature of sanctions.
